Strong winds really did a number on this Waterbury resident’s roof. There were areas with shingles missing all over the roof because winds actually blew them off! This is something you can't ignore because missing shingles can lead to leakage in the home!
The home owner was lucky that a Built Right representative was surveying the area for storm damage and saw the shingles missing from their roof. He immediately introduced himself and offered a solution to their problem. He told them that our company can get their insurance to buy them a new roof because of the specific damage they had. And that's exactly what we did; we got their insurance to pay for a brand new roof which we would build ourselves. We completely stripped the roof of all existing shingles, inspected the plywood to make sure it wasn’t damaged as well, used extra thick felt paper to protect against leakage, and finally shingled the whole roof with “Autumn Brown” Tamko shingles. They love the new roof that we installed! The home owner was also very grateful that they didn’t have to spend a ton of money or lift a finger to get it!
